Dr. Frank Hauert

Dr. Frank Hauert was a supervisor and deputy head of the “Safety” department at the Berufsgenossenschaft Nahrungsmittel und Gastgewerbe (BGN). He was head of the “Explosion Safety” working group at the Machinery and Systems Safety Section of the ISSA (International Social Security Association). He was an employee of the Research Society for Applied System Safety (FSA) and an examiner according to ATEX. In addition, he was actively involved in explosion protection standardization for many years and has been convenor of CEN/TC 305/WG 4 and head of NASG AA 2.6 since 2003. Through his work, he had a great influence on the terminology and methodology in explosion protection standardization.
